What to expect at your first appointment
- Firstly we will go through the history of the problem
- We will then need to discuss your past medical history including any regular medication you take, and any allergies you have. It is important you let us know about any history of issues or operations on the ear.
- Next we will proceed to examine the ear canal by traditional otoscope. Then we will use a video otoscope, which enables you to see what’s been found.
- With your permission, we can then proceed with treatment.
- Once the procedure is complete we will then examine the ear canal again, and show you the results of the treatment.
